newlyweds valentine
The couple had not been married for long; this is their first February as husband & wife. A bit of rain only enhances their joy in each other. Photograph taken on Garrison Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
A walk along the creek
The base photo was taken along the creek which flows below Natural Dam, Arkansas, with the walking woman added in. A variety of mild enhancements and artistic effects were worked in to complete the image.
Solitude
Photo composite. The main background scene is along the Arkansas River. Added in a photo taken of my son Adam sitting on a box. The form & textures of the walkway and moons are distorted and warped photos of stone & concrete.
Looking Up
a composite of 6 photos. There is only ONE tower. I took four photos of it from different sides and angles and at different times of day. I added the clouds (the original sky was clear blue) and the planes from an airshow photo.
The Grand Landscape
a composite of 11 different photos, taken in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Chicago, China, and South Korea.
Van Buren Window
One of my first photos of "inside-outside" looking at the items behind a store window (inside) and also the reflectioons inthe glass from across the street (outside). Some Photoshop filtering effects were also applied to enhance it graphically.
Ford F-2 sketch
my Uncle Dub Ziler's old pickup truck. I selectively applied various Topaz and Photoshop filtering to it for the artistic effect.
True American Patriot
a composite of several photos I took at a Pow Wow held at Turpentine Creek wild animal preserve near Eureka Spring, Arkansas. It was only after I was preparing the photos that I realized the main subject has a number of wartime medals. That was how I arrived at the title.

Spooky House
photo editing, compositing done to house at 19th & D Streets, Fort Smith, Arkansas. The original photos of the house, the gravestones, the clouds, everything were daytime photos. The nighttime blue look was done in photoshop.
Surreal Fruit Farm
a composite of lots of photos I took of various fruit, brick streets & buildings, dead trees, clouds, my arms. Lots of photoshop manipulation. Lots of fun to put this together!
